Third Day Boise Concert reviews
Great Band, Terrible Logistics, No Communication
"Koe Wetzel put on an amazing show and I have zero complaints there! The venue address our Apple and Google Maps took us to was blocked off and there was a neverending line of vehicles having to turn around and go back through town to another entrance. We left from a house ten minutes down the road at 7:15p and did not park at the venue until after 8:30p. We even called the venue before 5 p.m. to get clarification on that and it went right to voicemail. I've attended hundreds of concerts and completely understand that venues are going to be busy with traffic and people in line for drinks. Once we parked, we had a ten-minute walk and got inside when Third Day was on the last song. On top of that, beer was cash only and there was no mention of that anywhere on the venue's website, social media, or in the Ticketmaster emails (that we could find). So, once we got in and after we'd waited in the beer ticket line, we had to find the ATM and then purchase beer tickets, only to find out that the beer stand had run out of bags and ice. We drank warm beer throughout the show to avoid having to stand in the slow-moving line again. CCNB Amphitheatre is an awesome venue and the band was great, but the experience of getting there and getting settled in has made me weary of going back. But communication to customers prior to the event regarding the correct address to put into GPS, the anticipated traffic wait time, cash/cards required for purchases, food/drink ticket requirements; etc. would make for a much better concert experience."
